FragranceAromatherapy is the use of essential oils from plants for healing. The natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. From term Aromatherapy, it sound as if these oils are inhaled only, in Aromatherapy, these oils can also be massaged into the skin or can rarely be taken by mouth (Never Try without Expert Opinion). Whether inhaled or applied on the skin, essential oils are gaining new attention as an alternative treatment for infections, stress, and other health problems.

Essential Oils

Essential oils are concentrated substances extracted from flowers, leaves, stalks, fruits, and roots, and distilled from resins. These volatile, aromatic components are the “essence” of the plant, flowers, leaves, roots, fruits, balks etc.

Oils are used to promote physical healing, like in order to treat swelling or fungal infections essential oils are applied. Massage is a popular way of using essential oils because it works in a number of ways at the same time.

·         Ingestion.  Essential oils shall never be taken without expert advice; however, some essential oils are believed to heal certain diseases.

 

How Aromatherapy Works

Sense of smell plays the most important role in Aromatherapy along with penetration of essential oil deep inside the skin while application and during message etc. The “smell” receptors in your nose communicate with parts of brain, which activate concerned brain cells for necessary healing actions. When you breathe in essential oil molecules also stimulate parts of your brain and influence physical, emotional, and mental health.
